Project information data file

This data file is used to store information for users to maintain information specific to each project.
This file must be located in the folder where specific project drawings are located.
Only one project data file may be used per project.

Note - new sheets, rows and columns may be added when new features are added to FireSysCAD

Information about coloring in the data file -

Yellow these cells have text used by the FireSysCAD software and may NOT be changed
Green these cells contain values for Future FireSysCAD changes

Project sheet
This sheet is used to store information about the specific project. Most of this information is used by the Sheet commands to build title sheets. The column labeled “Block Attribute Name” contains the name of attributes in title block drawings. These cells can be changed as necessary for user modified title block drawings. Additional rows of information (for new attributes) can be added by the user.
The 'Notification Attribute Value' is used by the IB and DNC command to determine non-default values (Power Type, NAC style, Audible Characteristics, etc.)
The paper size columns “24x36”, “36x48”, etc. contain a coordinate list (X,Y) for blocks to be automatically inserted into the title sheets. If no coordinate data is in the cell, then the program will allow the user to place the appropriate block.

      Notification Sheet Default - default NAC style
             Used to determine part numbers and current draws from NAC data file sheet(s)
         Column B - name of column in NAC file for part numberr
         Column C - text shown during IB command to differentiate between NAC styles
         Column D - text input into the NSTYLE attribute (note - the default style is typically blank)
      Notification Sheet Style 2 - 2nd NAC style

   Default Values -
      Detector/Module Limit - percent number of detector/module devices per circuit from FSC_Equipment->Panel
         This value triggers a dialog box if percent of limit reached, but allows user to continue adding devices
         The program multiplies percentage times the values in 'FSC_Equipment->Panels' to determine limits
      Candela Code Data File - NFPA code data file used for current project
      Candela Code Tables - NFPA code table year used for current project
      Manufacturer Heat Detector Spacing -
         distance in feet to check for Heat Detector blocks for spacing based on ceiling height

Heat Detector sheet
This sheet is used to calculate the effective area for Heat Detector blocks by ceiling height and spacing multiplier. This calculate assumes the ceiling is a rectangle, with no slope and no obstructions. This information is directly from NFPA 72-2007 Section 5.6.5.1 Note – this information is only a guide for the designer to use. Design must take into account – irregular shaped areas, ceilings with solid beams or joists, dead air spaces, ceilings that have slopes, ceilings higher than 30 feet, etc.
